Note: This site is around for archival purpose only. Look around at some cool art and cringy writing I did when I was younger.

NEWER UPDATES

June 30th 2013 - Stopdoor

Doesn't fix it, gah.

Isolating causes though; only animated ads cause my error. Doesn't really explain chatbox breaking it too, but I'd assume that means it's some weird performance issue with Chrome. Maybe it's my own computers fault, that would almost be reassuring. Sort of.

And now I've fixed it? It seems it was a problem on my end, flash player or something. Pretty darn weird...

June 29th 2013 - Stopdoor

I'm hoping I've fixed the Ads. I didn't really change anything on my end; I've just switched to some 'asynchronous' loading that Google has in Beta.

Interestingly, the Ads still flat out break the sidebar on the "Chatbox" page (which I have hidden not so hiddenly), which shows a bit of a direct cause there; not that I know how to fix it yet. Luckily that's an obscure/obsolete page, I'm just hoping the sidebar works now on the majority of pages. I think I'm the only person it breaks for anyway, but if anyone sees it misbehaving let me know.

I also want to fix Horizontal Land to vertically stretch to fit different computer screens, but man, web design is just not built for horizontal pages. Disappointing.

June 15th 2013 - Stopdoor

Unfortunately, I have nothing to add other than I'm soon going to be busier. Good stuff. I wish I had more time for this website, but I won't give up on it.

May 26th 2013 - Stopdoor

Hey, just checking in; instead of working on the site for now I'm working on another project. Slowly, but I am doing something. Maybe I'll upload something sometime.

May 15th 2013 - Stopdoor

I've improved the borders in Firefox; but as a trade-off, I'm too lazy to round them. I've been fiddling with the Stuff Page, I want to format it better; I had a few image headers up for a few days but I've taken them down, they're a bit too showy. Not sure what I'll do there.

I also added some minor things to the to-do list. I feel like I'm slowing down... how is it the 15th already?

May 11th 2013 - Stopdoor

I'm quickly crossing off my to-do list, free time does wonders. I've added room for fish/decoration at the bottom of pages; adjusting them as neccessary (yellow fish kinda clash). It's a bit rough right now; biggest issue being that the stuff doesn't really look underwater, just 'placed' on top, but good enough for now.

Oh, and if Google Ads are back up, I'm probably testing them.

May 10th 2013 - Stopdoor

I updated the gallery code last night, it's pretty different now; doesn't squash the images anymore. Not sure what I'll do next.

May 9th 2013 - Stopdoor

So, I've removed the buttons on the left to test what breaks; looking it up it seems to be an issue with Google Ads themselves, but there's no clear reason why it should break my other slidebar, so I'm trying things to see what breaks. Really my plan is to wait a bit and see if it glitches without the buttons, so if you're bored you can go to pages and scroll up and down to see if it breaks (preferably in Chrome).

Update: it really does seem to be a problem sourced with the ads, and no one has a way to fix it. Very frustrating. I don't know why it would affect my sidebar, for now I'll have to disable ads, possibly find a new service in the future. Admittedly I've only made $4.11 over nearly a year (which I wouldn't even get until I hit $10), but I'm more annoyed I have to start again from scratch, darn.

May 8th 2013 - Stopdoor

So, I've taken to 'fixing the basic layout positioning code' like on the to-do list there; think of it like behind the scenes spring cleaning. I'm nearly at a point where I'm (temporarily) happy with it, there's just a few niggling issues I'll squash soon. After that, I need to fix the slidebar glitches; they're very odd, and also pretty damaging to people trying to navigate this website. They seem to be linked to my Google Ads, but really, I can't just get rid of those, there must be a way to fix it.

May 3rd 2013 - Stopdoor

Well, it's late today, but the write-up and all the extra art is up. Personally, I think it's some pretty interesting stuff, really completes the actual piece itself. Take a look from the link in the below post.

May 2nd 2013 - Stopdoor

Alright, I finally have a new piece of art up. This one's been stewing for a year or more, find it on the MS Paint Art page.

This is also the last of the ideas that were partially made, sitting in the wings; everything from now on is only in the idea phase. I needed to push this out now to narrow my focus (summer break means no school either), I'm going to shift to more of a programming direction; upgrade this website more, spend more time learning useful things. I've done enough art for now.

A write-up for this is coming later today/tomorrow. It'll probably be pretty long, woo.

April 14th 2013 - Stopdoor

I don't really have any reason to update, just posting for activity sake.

I'm 'nearly' done my art-piece, but I'm totally lost on what to do with the background. Nothing really works right.

April 4th 2013 - Stopdoor

(In case not obvious, the last update was an April Fools)

April 1st 2013 - Stopdoor

I've finally gotten around to uploading some new art, check it out on the MS Paint Art page.

March 17th 2013 - Stopdoor

Slidebar is glitchy, worse than ever. Good stuff.

March 9th 2013 - Stopdoor

I made a quick poster for a university club I started; it's colourful enough to host on here. Check it out on the MSPaint Art page.

March 2nd 2013 - Stopdoor

It is March.

That is all.

February 22nd 2013 - Stopdoor

I fiddled with the Google AdSense code (took out a totally unrelated formatting line), so I'm hoping it stops the bugs where the slidebar gets stuck and really buggy in Chrome. Someone let me know if it still acts funny. Don't really know why it seems to work now, so I'm doubtful.

Also, uh, hey, I'm totally alive.

February 4th 2013 - Stopdoor

See MS Paint Art for details on the yesterday thing.

Updated it a bit from this morning.

February 3rd 2013 - Stopdoor

King's Face from Robot Teaser Art

Click

Call it a teaser; I made most of this today, to be honest, based on the current art thing I'm working on. I wanted to see how good I could hash out an emotional human face (kinda of uncanny valley, but, hey, I've done worse), and it ballooned a bit from there.

Not up to all my standards, but sometimes I should just not work on things forever. I'll be uploading/explaining a bit more from this tomorrow.

Wait for robots.

January 20th 2013 - Stopdoor

Hey uh, I added a high-contrast version of my last art piece on the 'MS Paint' page; anyone who couldn't pick out the sea monster in it before can take a look!

Yeah! Update!

January 10th 2013 - Stopdoor

If you see this, good job, you're in the right place.

New URL incoming; see above. The old URL should still forward to the new one for awhile, but bookmark the new one!

The current (old) URL was always meant to slightly be a placeholder, until something like ehhem.com or ehhem.net became free. Unfortunately, they seem locked down, so I'm finally going with eh-hem.net. One thing that spurred me to do this: I can change my Mario Kart 7 name to the URL and advertise while kicking butt. Yeah!

January 4th 2013 - Stopdoor

Laptop had a near-death experience, so that's why nothing much has been done here; though, I've also knocked out most of my goals. I'll actually need to start making new ones, oh no!

January 1st+ 2013 - Stopdoor

Happy New Year. I'm up late.

I'm up late so I can welcome you to HORIZONTAL LAND, the amazing new page of this website. Currently the magical portal to it is stationed at the bottom of the art stuff page.

(Yeah, it's just a vaguely interesting experiment)

Also, I'm likely going to change this site's domain soon; better to do it early, though it may crush the little activity momentum I have... I can't specify what it's going to be yet before I purchase it, but watch this page! Don't get left behind!

Today is a busy day; I've also jumbled around the art section; it's now split into "Art" and "Stuff". The buttons on the left will be fixed momentarily; and the writing page will likely return even if it's still empty. Give "Stuff" a look; green pages for life! Some designer somewhere hates me, but somehow I make it work. Funnily enough, green is the only colour that doesn't seem to be present on every page; now you can enjoy the Stuff page's rainbow of colour!

This also means I've finally gotten through the to-do stuff I've had sitting there for ages; most of the new stuff is just tweaking. Progress!
